Merchant Focus provides PayFac-as-a-Service and white-label embedded payments for software companies, SaaS platforms, and ISVs. It helps platforms embed and manage payments inside their own product instead of sending users to a third-party checkout.
linq is a fit for software companies, SaaS platforms, and ISVs that want to add payments and participate in payment revenue. Typical buyers are founders, product leaders, and payments or partnership teams.
Launch timing depends on integration scope, onboarding flow, and underwriting requirements. A straightforward implementation can move in days once requirements are defined, while more complex rollouts take longer — one of our partners went from kickoff to live payments in under four days.
Merchant Focus serves businesses in the United States and Canada.
Merchant Focus works with SaaS platforms and ISVs across a wide range of verticals including fitness and wellness, healthcare, unattended and car wash, field services, hospitality, professional services, and more. If your platform serves merchants who need to accept payments, we can support it.
Merchant Focus combines fully white-labeled payments, competitive rates, no external redirects, 24/7 U.S.-based customer service, and dedicated account management. When you call us, a real payments professional answers the phone ready to help. Our company has more than 20 years in business and processes more than $2 billion in annual volume. Unlike direct payment processors built for end merchants, Merchant Focus is built for platforms — we white-label the entire payments experience so your customers never leave your product.
linq & PayFac-as-a-Service
linq is Merchant Focus's PayFac-as-a-Service platform that lets software companies embed white-labeled payment processing directly into their product. With linq, platforms can offer their merchants a seamless onboarding, payment, and management experience — all under their own brand — while Merchant Focus handles the underlying compliance, underwriting, and payment infrastructure.
PayFac-as-a-Service allows software platforms and ISVs to offer native payment processing to their customers without becoming a registered Payment Facilitator themselves. Merchant Focus handles the compliance, underwriting, and infrastructure — you get the revenue share and the seamless user experience.
Merchant Focus provides the payments infrastructure behind your platform while the payment experience stays branded to your product. Your users can onboard, accept payments, and manage activity inside your software — no external redirects, no third-party branding.
No. Merchant Focus supports a native in-platform payment experience with no external redirects. That keeps checkout and payment management inside your product.
Yes. linq is fully white-labeled — your merchants see your brand throughout the entire payments experience, from onboarding to processing to support. Merchant Focus operates behind the scenes as the PayFac of record, so you own the customer relationship end to end.
No. Merchant Focus operates as the PayFac of record, so your platform gets all the benefits of embedded payments — revenue share, white-labeling, full control — without the regulatory burden and capital requirements of becoming a registered PayFac.
Pricing & Revenue Share
Pricing is custom and depends on processing volume, integration scope, support needs, and the revenue share structure. Merchant Focus also supports revenue share models so platforms can monetize payment volume.
You earn a percentage of every transaction your merchants process through your platform. The more your merchants process, the more you earn — creating a true recurring revenue stream that grows alongside your customers' success. Revenue share terms are agreed upon during onboarding.
Security & Compliance
Merchant Focus is PCI DSS Level 1 certified and uses end-to-end encryption and tokenization. Those controls are designed to protect payment data across onboarding, processing, and ongoing account use.
Onboarding & Support
Most merchants are fully onboarded and processing payments within 48 hours. Our automated onboarding flow handles KYC, underwriting, and approval — no manual paperwork or lengthy back-and-forth.
Merchant Focus provides 24/7 U.S.-based customer service and dedicated account management. Support is available for both platform partners and the merchants using the platform.
Both. Your platform owns the relationship with your merchants and handles product-level questions. Merchant Focus handles payments-specific support — settlement questions, transaction issues, chargebacks, risk, and underwriting — through a named account manager available 24/7. You choose how much of that support is white-labeled behind your brand versus transparent to your merchants.
Funding, Disputes & Contracts
Card transactions typically settle in 1–2 business days, depending on the merchant's bank and processing history. ACH transactions take 1–3 business days. New merchants may experience slightly longer settlement times during their first few weeks of processing while transaction patterns are established.
Most applications are approved automatically through our underwriting system. If an application is flagged for manual review, our underwriting team evaluates it within 1–2 business days and reaches out directly with any questions or additional documentation requests. A declined application is rare and typically related to undisclosed risk factors or restricted business categories — in those cases, we explain the reason and, where possible, suggest a path forward or an alternative processing model.
When a cardholder disputes a transaction, the chargeback flows through Merchant Focus's dispute management process. You and your merchants receive a notification with the dispute details and a deadline to submit supporting evidence. Our team helps guide the response and represents the merchant in the chargeback resolution process with the card networks. Funds for the disputed amount are held until the case is resolved, typically within 30–90 days.
Contract terms vary by program and are agreed upon during onboarding — there is no one-size-fits-all lock-in. linq is built with processor portability in mind, meaning your merchant and transaction data stays with you. If you need to end the relationship, we work with you on a transition plan that minimizes disruption to your merchants. Specific notice periods and transition details are outlined in your agreement.
